About Davinci

What is Davinci Micro Fulfillment?

Davinci Micro Fulfillment is a US-based network of 6 owned-and-operated micro-fulfillment centers that helps brands sell and fulfill across Amazon, Walmart, TikTok, Shopify, and other marketplaces. We combine forward-deployed distributed inventory with predictive AI/ML placement and US-based strategic account services to deliver 1–2 day ground delivery to 99% of US households at lower cost than FBA.

How is Davinci different from a traditional 3PL?

Traditional 3PLs are centralized, passive order converters — they ship what you tell them to ship from 1–2 large DCs. Davinci is a distributed, forward-deployed micro-fulfillment network with AI demand modeling, 7-day pickup schedules, multi-marketplace connectivity, kitting and bundling included, and US-based agency-quality account services as part of the relationship. Traditional 3PLs were built for pallets. Davinci was built for how brands actually sell today.

How is Davinci different from Amazon FBA?

FBA locks your inventory into Amazon’s network, charges escalating fees, and gives you no control over inventory placement or channel strategy. Davinci gives your brand Prime eligibility via Seller Central (SFP) at lower cost per order — while keeping your inventory available across every marketplace you sell on.

Where are Davinci's fulfillment centers located?
Davinci operates 6 owned-and-operated fulfillment nodes across the US: Kentucky (central US hub), Texas (south-central + Dallas metro), California (West Coast + LA/Bay Area), Florida (Southeast + Miami/Orlando), Georgia (Southeast + Atlanta corridor), and Pennsylvania (Northeast + NYC/Philadelphia). All facilities are owned and operated by Davinci — no co-warehousing, no contracted space.
Who backs Davinci?

No. Davinci Micro Fulfillment is a privately held, venture-backed company. We closed a $3 million seed round in November 2023, bringing total funding to $10 million since launching in 2021.

Fulfillment & Operations

What delivery speed can Davinci achieve?
Davinci’s 6-node distributed network delivers to 95% of US households in 1–2 days by ground shipping. Our system-wide average delivery speed is 2.1 days.
What pickup schedule does Davinci operate?
Davinci operates 7 days a week with multiple daily pickups. We offer the latest pickup cutoffs in the industry — ensuring orders placed late in the day ship the same day whenever possible.
Does Davinci support Amazon Prime shipping through Seller Central (SFP)?

Yes. Davinci’s pickup schedule and delivery network meets Amazon’s Prime requirements. Brands working with Davinci can maintain Prime eligibility via Seller Central (SFP) without relying on FBA — at significantly lower cost per order.

Does Davinci support Amazon Vendor Central and Direct Fulfillment?
Yes. Davinci manages Amazon Direct Fulfillment and Vendor Central drop-ship programs from our owned facilities, handling all inbound, routing, and compliance requirements.
What marketplaces does Davinci integrate with?
Davinci integrates with Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Shopify, Target Plus, and other channels via API. All channels draw from a single unified inventory pool — no siloed stock, no channel conflict.
Does Davinci offer kitting, bundling, and prep?

Yes. Kitting and bundling are included at no extra cost. Davinci breaks bulk, builds 2-unit, 3-unit, and multipack bundles, and handles Amazon FBA-compliant prep at the same facility your inventory lives in — you pay only for prep supplies. No separate prep center required.

How does Davinci handle returns?

Returns are accepted and processed at all 6 Davinci nodes.

Are there long-term contracts?
No long-term contracts are required to get started with Davinci.

Pricing & Costs

How does Davinci's pricing work?
Davinci uses a variable cost model — you pay per order, not per square foot. Pricing varies based on volume, SKU mix, and service requirements. Contact our team for a model specific to your brand.
How does Davinci compare to FBA on cost?
Davinci is significantly cheaper per order than FBA for brands doing $500K+ annually in eCommerce, with substantially lower storage costs. Total savings vary by brand — book a call and we’ll model your specific situation.
What is the minimum order volume to work with Davinci?
Davinci works best with brands doing $500K or more annually in eCommerce. There is no formal minimum, but the model delivers the most value at scale.

Technology & Onboarding

How long does it take to get started with Davinci?
Onboarding timelines vary by brand complexity, SKU count, and marketplace mix. Contact our team for a specific timeline estimate based on your situation.
What technology does Davinci use for inventory placement?

Davinci uses proprietary AI demand modeling that analyzes your historic sales data, minimum order quantities, lead times, and upcoming campaign schedules to place inventory in the optimal node before orders arrive. Brands have access to a real-time inventory dashboard with node-level visibility.

Can I split inventory across multiple marketplaces from one pool?
Yes. Davinci’s unified inventory pool means your Amazon, Walmart, TikTok, Shopify, and DTC orders all draw from the same stock. You can also reserve inventory for specific channels or campaigns — you control the allocation strategy.
